Make this dress form, today!

I love dress forms.  They are feminine, free and full of possibilities for the viewer and the artist. No words necessary.  You can create with color, texture, techniques and/or patterns.  Just simple yummy goodness.  Let’s make this grungey, messy one together.

Cover background with Gesso.  Draw your dress form.

Add Modeling Paste and use Texture Scrappers Tools to add even more detail and dimension in the Modeling Paste. Allow modeling paste to dry.

Color dress form and background using Gelatos® colors of choice. Color on and activate with a water brush.

Ink edges of your page or canvas to complete.

Just a little close up of the yummy texture created with the texture card and Whipped Spackle.

So fun! Worth doing again and again…textures, patterns, colors. Let your imagination run wild.

Supplies Used:

Just a little throwback from my days with the Faber Castell Creative Team. Thought my creative peeps might enJOY this.
