It’s National Craft Month! And what a better way to get it started than with a cute, quick tutorial!
This week we practiced being thoughtful and cards are a very thoughtful way to let others know you are thinking of them. So let’s keep it going.
I originally made this for Faber Castell but now am sharing with you here. Woot!
Grab your Gelatos® Stardust and let’s create. Here’s what I did.
Spread Gesso on card base and an extra piece of paper. Color extra piece of paper with Gelatos® Stardust, allow to dry and punch or die- cut mini flowers.
Next, use Stamper’s Big Brush Pens: Pink Madden # 129,Maganese Violet # 160 to create your background. Draw color onto craft sheet, spritz with water and drag the card base through the color. Do this one color at a time.
Use Stamper’s Big Brush Pens: Black #199 to add color on a fun circle stamp. Stamp image. Big Brush Pens are perfect for stamping.
Write sentiment on a small piece of paper using Journaling Pitt®Artist Pens Medium Nib Black #199. Use Stamper’s Big Brush Pens: Black #199 to ink the edge of the sentiment block. Adhere with pop dots and add flowers around sentiments, pop up a few with pop dots as well.
Finish card by scribbling around page using Texture Gems™ Silver and use to make flower centers as well. Lastly, add a small piece of twine tied in a bow.
Tada!
