It’s Monday! A new challenge and a quote for you!
Are you joining me for the My Favorite Quotes Challenge? It’s easy. Each Monday, I share a quote that speaks to me, you then let it inspire your creativity…card, art journal page, scrapbook whatever your heart desires. Just create, have fun and share in the Embrace Your Art Facebook Group.
For the challenge, I’ve decided to create in 4×6 for most weeks…but sometimes it might be an art journal page, like today. I’m letting this be a free flowing challenge..meaning I will create whenever I can, in the format I am currently feeling but sometimes when life gets busy I may simply share the quote and you get to play.
Challenge: Create an art journal page let the quote and art journal spread inspire you.
Quote reads: “Those who dance are thought to be quite insane by those who cannot hear the music.”
This is a favorite quote of the lovely Embracer, Anne Kacoullas Hartman.
Thoughts? How do you interpret this quote?
My thoughts. You can surely take this literally or perhaps it is about judgement and how we judge others lives from the outside looking in, from assumption. We judge other’s thoughts, words, actions, happiness, joy…emotions yet we truly know nothing about them. Perhaps, especially in this case judging joy, happiness because we don’t feel it, have it, cultivate it, know it, or experience it.
