Combining Inks and Acrylics for a Wonderful Effect

Playing with inks and acrylics in my journal for the Documented Life Project.  This is a simple yet powerful technique.  Keep it clean and simple with a two-tone acrylic background.  Make your art “POP” by drawing in ink on top.  Intense are an easy way to provide shading.  Be sure your background is completely dry before using markers on top.  Wet acrylic paint will dry out many markers and pens.

supplies used: DecoArt Americana Acrylics, PITT Pen, Inktense Blocks.

Thanks for sharing this with us. I totally dried out 2 of my Faber Castell Pitt Artist pens. I love your artwork and really enjoy creating artwork from the beautiful artwork you share with us.
